Woman of 38 years flees scene after driving into open field, disappearing from sight

A hit-and-run incident has taken place in the town of Werl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. On Sunday at 5:15 AM, a vehicle was found on a field along "Der Breite Weg" street. No one was found in the vehicle, but further investigations revealed that the driver could be a 38-year-old woman from Lünen.

The vehicle, a Renault, had driven off the Tiggesloh road, over a ditch, and onto a field before coming to a stop. On Sunday evening at 6 PM, another Renault was found stuck in a field along "Tiggesloh" street. The 38-year-old woman was found later that day at a fast-food restaurant on Hammer Landstraße in Werl.

The woman was found with minor injuries and was taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance. Given her mental state, it was assumed that she might return home. The police secured many parts of the Renault and initiated a hit-and-run investigation.

The person inside the vehicle did not respond when approached by a witness. The 38-year-old woman was reported missing by her relatives before she was found. The search results provided do not contain any information about a 38-year-old woman from Lünen, nor about who is leading the investigation in such a case.
