Windfest Celebration Unfurls in Klings Under the Canopy of Trees on July 25th
The Klingser Volunteer Initiative is set to host a musical open-air event on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the picturesque festival grounds at Klingenstein in Klings. This community-focused event will attract guests from near and far, aiming to support local craft businesses and musical ensembles from the region.
The Klingser Volunteer Initiative, a long-standing organisation with roots in home, people, nature, and culture, has been actively engaged in various charitable projects for decades. Although specific details about their mission, history, and previous projects remain elusive, the initiative is believed to focus on empowering community members to contribute their time and skills to meaningful causes, fostering civic engagement, and improving local quality of life.
The afternoon of the event will be co-hosted by three musical groups: the Urnshausen Brass Musicians, the children of the Kindergarten Knirpsenland Klings, and the Bermbach Brass Musicians. Brass music played by these talented musicians will fill the air starting at noon.
Attendees can look forward to a large cake buffet, with acknowledgements going to Mayor Erik Thürmer, the employees of the city of Kaltennordheim, the VG Hohe Rhön, the VR Bank Nord Rhön, and all supporters, cake, and pastry bakers.
The event will offer plenty of shady and sunny seating areas, ensuring a comfortable experience for all. As the initiative intends to make the village attractive, foster community spirit, enhance quality of life, preserve traditions and culture, and attract returnees, this musical open-air event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all.
Food and drinks from the region will be available at the event, making it a celebration of local flavours and culture. The Klingser Volunteer Initiative encourages everyone to attend and join in the festivities. All proceeds, after covering costs, will be donated to a charitable project, further underscoring the event's commitment to community and social impact.
