The Wiesbaden Apple Festival is set to kick off this coming weekend, from Friday to Saturday, on the picturesque Schlossplatz. The event, running from 12 to 19 hours each day, promises a delightful celebration of all things apple.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of apple-themed activities and treats. The festival will serve traditional apple wine, known locally as 'Apfelwoi', in the iconic 'Gerippten' glasses at the pressing stations. For those seeking a taste of the Basque country, the Wiesbaden-San Sebastián partnership association will be serving Basque apple wine, or 'Sidra', at stand number 12 in front of the state parliament.

In addition to the apple wine, the festival will offer apple-themed accessories for purchase, such as doormats and Bembel. Kids can also get involved in the fun with interactive activities like an apple juice press.
