Washing Mania: Unveiling Trends, Gathering Parties, and Inspecting Costs
The much-anticipated Cannstatter Volksfest is just around the corner, and this year promises to be an exciting one with numerous changes and additions.
Starting off, Hi-Life, operated by Tim Berkemer, has moved its popular Spitzbubenbar to a larger area within Sonja Merz's tent. However, the identity of the artist who operates her club in Sonja Merz’s tent remains undisclosed, according to recent search results.
In a delightful twist, DJ Robin is set to return to the Volksfest, playing under the same conditions as in 2017. His new song, "Who are you?", which is based on the 1970s hit "How do you do" by Mouth & MacNeal, is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. DJ Robin expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to perform at the Volksfest and even demands a reasonable fee of 7,900 euros plus 800 euros for travel expenses.
The VIP area at Hi-Life's new location boasts a separate entrance and a darkened, separated space for 20 people. Meanwhile, the previous location of Nina Renoldi is now occupied by the operators of Frida's Pier, who will be transforming the space into a sophisticated club called Royal 1850, with a focus on club music and a premium lounge.
For those looking for a more laid-back experience, the variety of events at the Volksfest caters to various tastes, according to spokeswoman Stefanie Hirrle. The lifestyle surrounding drinks, wine, and champagne is particularly popular among young visitors, with high-quality sparkling water from renowned brands being served, albeit at a slightly higher price.
Unfortunately, there are no public water taps at the Volksfest yet, unlike in Munich's Oktoberfest where visitors can fill up water bottles for free at public water taps. Prices for water at the Volksfest remain relatively stable, with a half-liter costing between 5.80 and 6.90 euros.
It's worth noting that an extension of all tents is not planned for this year's Oktoberfest in Munich. However, the clubs at the Cannstatter Volksfest can stay open an hour longer than the beer tents.
Lastly, celebrity parties in boxes are on the rise at the Cannstatter Volksfest, adding an extra touch of glamour to the festivities. The Cannstatter Volksfest begins on September 26th, so mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable experience!
Prices for ice cubes have significantly increased at the Volksfest due to the risk of spore formation, but the excitement surrounding the event seems to outweigh this minor inconvenience. Whether you're a fan of DJ Robin, the sophisticated atmosphere of Royal 1850, or simply the vibrant energy of the Volksfest, there's something for everyone. So, who are you? Are you ready to join the fun at the Cannstatter Volksfest?
