In the heart of Dong Nai province, Japfa Vietnam's "Care & Share" project is making a significant impact on the local farming community. The initiative, now in its second consecutive year in Long Ha Commune, aims to improve farmers' livelihoods and promote sustainable agriculture over the long term [1][2].

Recently, Japfa Comfeed Vietnam donated 8,000 day-old Mia chicks and four tonnes of animal feed to 80 disadvantaged farming households in Long Ha Commune. This generous donation is part of Japfa's ongoing commitment to support local farmers and encourage sustainable agriculture [3]. Each household received 50 kg of animal feed to reduce initial costs and ensure proper nutrition during the early growth stages of the chicks.

The quality of the chicks provided by Japfa was highly appreciated by Dieu Minh Hung, a farmer from Bu Ka 1 village. The chicks were fully vaccinated and sexed before delivery, ensuring a healthy start for the farmers' flocks [4].

Beyond the immediate benefits, the long-term impact of the "Care & Share" project is focused on enhancing economic stability for farmers by providing them with resources and support to develop more sustainable farming practices. This not only helps improve their current quality of life but also fosters sustainable agricultural development in the region, contributing to broader environmental and social benefits [1][2].

Japfa Comfeed Vietnam is also working towards building a replicable livestock farming model, with the aim of enhancing rural living standards [5]. To further support the farmers, Japfa will provide on-site technical support on farm design, feeding, vaccination, and disease control [6].

In addition to the "Care & Share" project, Japfa Comfeed Vietnam has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those in need. For instance, the company donated 300 gifts to underprivileged students who have demonstrated resilience and academic success [7]. Japfa also organised the 'Nutrition Meal' initiative for 1,500 students in Hoa Binh province in December [8].

Clemens Tan, general director of Japfa Comfeed Vietnam, reaffirmed the company's commitment to enhancing the customer experience during the National Customer Conference held on February 13 and 17 in Dalat and Ninh Binh province [9]. Japfa is also assisting in typhoon recovery efforts for customers and partners in northern provinces affected by Storm Yagi [10].

The "Care & Share" project in Long Ha Commune is a testament to Japfa's dedication to uplifting farmers economically and encouraging sustainable agriculture in Dong Nai province. Through this initiative, Japfa aims to bring about long-lasting positive changes in the local farming community.
