Upcoming Student Events at Your School: June 2024
Our school is gearing up for a series of exciting summer events, offering a vibrant mix of music, education, and collaboration. Here's a sneak peek at what's in store:
- June Events
- On the 3rd of June, our students will be shining at the Student Showcase @ The Camden Club. This event is free to attend and promises a variety of musical expressions from our Music Production students.
- The very next day, on the 4th of June, Point Fusion @ The Jago is happening. This event, requiring tickets, is a testament to our students' creativity and hard work.
- On the 6th of June, the Camden Groove @ The Camden Club offers live performances of pop, R&B, and soul music, and the best part? It's free to attend!
- The 8th of June sees the arrival of Fever105's Summer Disco Inferno @ The Pickle Factory, another ticketed event where our school community is invited to join the fun.
- June Highlights
- The 3rd of June also marks a special occasion, as our school hosts a vocal class showcase that celebrates the beauty of diversity in a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
- On the 3rd of July, Huxlxy, a Music Production student, will be performing @ Signature Brew Haggerston. Huxlxy is managed by Lara Simpson, another one of our students on the Music Business course.

- Our school is hosting a free DJ Showcase @ Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes on the 19th of June. Our students will perform a variety of genres, showcasing their talent and hard work.
- New Degree Programs
- Starting September, our school is offering new degrees in Songwriting and Music Software Engineering. Stay tuned for more information!
Beyond our school, there are several noteworthy summer events happening at universities across the globe. Here are a few highlights:
- RecFest at Texas State University
- On August 22, 2025, Campus Recreation’s biggest event of the year takes place. This free event features interactive games, fitness challenges, Esports, water inflatable obstacle course, competitions, live DJ music, silent disco, and opportunities to learn about campus resources and clubs.
- Summer College Programs (Pre-College) at Syracuse University
- Applications for Summer 2025 have closed, but this program offers residential and commuter programs with credit and noncredit academic courses spanning up to 6 weeks. It allows students to experience college life, attend classes, and participate in on-campus activities.
- Back-to-School Bash (Wrap-Up of Summer Events) in Northeast Ohio
- A series of educational and entertaining events are taking place in Northeast Ohio, concluding around late August 2025. These events include music education, dry ice demos, Taekwon-Do demonstrations, princess performances, mobile gym fitness activities, and kids' book donations.
- KAM Fest 2025 at University of Illinois
- This festival celebrates the Krannert Art Museum’s new exhibitions and offers free attendance to classes like cycling, yoga, Pilates, and Zumba; refreshments; live performances; and open houses for student resource centers.
- Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) – STEM Track
- This prestigious STEM academic enrichment program involves seminars and capstone projects with students globally, led by Yale faculty and industry pros. It is a residential summer program for high school students, with tuition fees ranging from $6,000–$7,000 and need-based aid available.
- Princeton University Summer Journalism Program
- This two-week residential program for students interested in journalism, science communication, or policy, targeted to underrepresented backgrounds, takes place in July. The cost is around $2,000 with available financial aid.
