Theatre performances for kids continue at Water Tower Forum in September
On September 21, the Children's Theater Series in Forum Wasserturm, Lank-Latum, Germany, will kick off its next round, featuring a unique version of the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty" using life-sized textile puppets by the ensemble "Lille Kartoffler" from Langenfeld.
The series will run until December 24, with various performances for all ages. On October 26 at 3 pm, Theater Fithe/Kelmis from Belgium will present "Little Ice Bear, where are you going?" based on the picture book by Hans de Beer, suitable for children aged four and up.
On November 23 at 3 pm, another highlight will take place as the theater "Lille Kartoffler" returns with another performance. This time, they will present a unique version of "You started it - No, you did!" based on the children's book "Two Monsters" by David Mc Kee.
But the series' grand finale is the interactive "Sleeping Beauty" performance on December 24 at 11 am. Unlike traditional performances, the audience will have a chance to influence the plot. Tickets for this event cost 7.70 euros if purchased in advance, while tickets purchased at the box office will be 8 euros.
The performance will take place at Forum Wasserturm in Lank-Latum, and tickets can be purchased at various locations, including bookstores, post offices, and online via Reservix. For those interested in another performance before the festive celebrations, "Rosa Luise and the missing Christmas packages" will be performed by the Meerbusch soap bubble figure theater on December 24. This play marks the last performance of the Children's Theater Series in Forum Wasserturm in 2021.
It's important to note that the performing artists of "Rosa Luise und die verschwundenen Weihnachtspakete" at the Meerbusch Wasserturm-Theater on December 24 at 11 a.m. are not publicly listed.
