The complaint didn't end here. Tickoo accused his landlord of charging him Rs 55,000 for painting, followed by a high sum for various miscellaneous damages, totaling over Rs 82,000. When questioned, he received a handwritten sheet with random charges, but no detailed list or proper invoices.
