Tallinn's Week of Culture, Food & Ideas Kicks Off with International Dinner

Tallinn is gearing up for a week of culture, food, and ideas, kicking off with the International Dinner on Wednesday, 8 October, and culminating in Open House Tallinn over the weekend. The city will also host Impact Day 2025, Oktoberfest Tallinn, and the Apple-Flavoured Autumn Fair.

The week begins with the International Dinner on Wednesday, 8 October, at Tartu mnt 80J. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish or snack from their home country to share, fostering cultural exchange.

Impact Day 2025 takes centre stage from Thursday, 9 October, to Friday, 10 October, at Tallinn Creative Hub (Kultuurikatel). This event focuses on sustainability, innovation, and positive change, featuring talks, workshops, and an Expo Area. While the initiators remain unidentified, the event promises insightful discussions.

On Friday, 10 October, Oktoberfest Tallinn unfolds at Unibet Arena, bringing two Oktoberfest bands from Germany and local bands to the stage. Steins of Munich beer from the Paulaner brewery will be available, creating a lively atmosphere.

The following day, Saturday, 11 October, sees the Apple-Flavoured Autumn Fair at the TV Tower. This event includes apple pressing, local food, crafts, and a guided tour of an artist's exhibition, celebrating the season's bounty.

Open House Tallinn rounds off the week from Thursday, 11 October, to Sunday, 12 October, offering rare access to fascinating buildings and their stories at various locations in Tallinn. Architects and volunteers will bring these spaces to life.

Tallinn's diverse events calendar in early October caters to various interests, from cultural exchange and sustainability discussions to traditional German festivities and autumnal celebrations. Each event promises unique experiences, making it an exciting time to visit the city.
