Stephanie Boydston's Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary: A Haven for 211 Animals

Stephanie Boydston, founder of Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, has a heart for animals that began in her Long Island, NY childhood. She's brought her passion and experience to the sanctuary she runs today.

Boydston's love for animals started early. She grew up with a string of foster animals and had a soft spot for cats and dogs, with a favorite senior feline named Willow. Her father believed family members should become accustomed to saying goodbye to animals, instilling in her a deep understanding of the cycle of life.

After volunteering at Good Karma Pet Rescue, Boydston found homes for eight out of ten potbellied pigs. She ended up keeping two, leading to the founding of Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. Today, the sanctuary spans 10 acres and houses 211 animals, including goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, and pigs.

Boydston's work at Make-A-Wish provided her with valuable fundraising experience and nonprofit knowledge. She began snowbirding between New York and Florida while still in school, working various jobs, including her 'dream job' in development for Make-A-Wish. This experience has been invaluable in running the sanctuary.

Boydston chiefly handles the care and feeding of the animals alone, with a monthly expense of $6200. To contribute to the sanctuary's expenses, one can volunteer, adopt an animal, or visit the website at https://www.lovelifeanimalrescue.org/.

Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, under the dedicated leadership of Stephanie Boydston, provides a safe sanctuary for 211 animals. Boydston's childhood passion, coupled with her professional experience, drives her commitment to the sanctuary's mission. The sanctuary welcomes support through volunteering, adoption, and donations.
