Take a Stroll Down Memory Lane with H&M Home

Whelp, I've finally seen the light after checking out the revamped H&M homeware store on Regent Street. I've been missing out, folks! My Editor-in-Chief, Heather Young, was the first to make a beeline for this revamped London store, and boy, did she find some designer-worthy goodies. If you're into the mid-century home decor trend and looking to add a pop of pattern to your space, you've got to check out H&M's offerings.

Green was a big color trend in the dining collections at the store, and the speckled ceramic collection made a bold statement. I loved how the abstract pattern was paired with a traditional floral print for a high-end look, and the best part? Nothing on the table cost more than £20!

I'm all about hunting for those smaller items that make everything else look more expensive. These are the standouts at H&M right now:

  1. Splatter ceramics: Back with a bang this year, most designs usually come in at double the price. The large green splatter design I found at H&M is a steal!
  2. Luxe table cloth: Not only is it stylish, but it also has a water-repellent coating for easy cleaning. The table runner is already sold out, so act fast!
  3. Colored glass wine glasses: With a chunky stem and handmade quality, these will make any table setting look pricey.
  4. Pink and orange seat cushions: These seat cushions instantly make a stripe cushion look more expensive. Perfect for elevating your ultra-trendy IKEA bistro set.
  5. Dusty green wireless lamp: This lamp looks like a designer replica at a fraction of the price. Love the mid-century design!
  6. Side table: Soho Home vibes at a high street budget? Yes, please! This side table is an investment piece at £200, but it's worth it for that designer look.
  7. Swirled sculptural vase: This vase adds a touch of luxury to any shelf setup, all for just £20.
  8. Bordallo Pinheiro floral mugs: These whimsical mugs will add a charming touch to your kitchen shelf or tea break.
  9. Jute rug runner: Affordable yet chic, this jute rug runner is a classic piece that always looks expensive.

If you're still hooked on mid-century modern styles, you might want to explore places like Sohnne, Mid Century Modern Gal, Mocka, or Atomic Road Hohm for a more curated selection. For a more general approach, consider checking out second-hand stores, online marketplaces, or flea markets.

H&M Home is also a great place to find affordable bedding. I'm eager to check out their chic looking sheet collection next time I'm in store. So, have any of these picks piqued your interest? Let the home decor hunt commence!
