Registration is now open for the 9th Photo Marathon Lübeck 2023, a captivating event that invites photographers of all ages and skill levels to capture the essence of Lübeck during the Transition Weekend, taking place from September 29 to October 1, 2023.
Participants can look forward to an exciting eight-hour journey, involving the photography of ten motifs that align with the given themes. The event will take place at the "Transition House" on September 30, 2023.

To ensure a smooth experience, participants are encouraged to pre-book Quandt line ships from the MuK dock at a reduced price. Free parking is available in the St. Marien Centrum car park for event participants.
The event is open to anyone who owns a digital camera and wants to participate. However, minors under 16 years of age need the consent of a legal guardian to take part. Only digital cameras are allowed; smartphones are not permitted.
The event offers a unique opportunity to explore the waterways around the old town island and capture its enchanting photo motifs. Participants can even take photos from the Church of St. Mary in Lübeck for free. For those with visible start numbers, a complimentary visit to the viewing platform of St. Petri is also available.
The best photographers in both age categories (up to and including 14 years and from 15 years) have a chance to win high-quality cameras, attractive prizes, and vouchers. As a thank you for participating, each participant will receive a starter set with surprises.
The award ceremony will take place during the 65th Nordic Film Days Lübeck on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
