Savor the Cool: 2024's Pikmin-Themed Ice Cream Flavors Unveiled
Get ready, Pikmin Bloom players! The much-anticipated summer event is back, running from August 1 to August 31, 2025. This year, the event features not one, but two exciting Decor Pikmin types: the returning Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin and the brand-new Shaved Ice Decor Pikmin.
The Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin, which made a splash in September 2023, are back as a nostalgic summer-themed treat. These delightful Pikmin can be earned by completing event missions during this period.
On the other hand, the Shaved Ice Decor Pikmin are a refreshing new addition, characterised by their colourful syrup and sweet toppings. Players can earn seedlings and rewards by completing missions, planting flowers, and taking down the Bizarre Mushrooms that may appear during the event.
This event also features Hibiscuses and Morning Glories as the featured flowers, and a Community Day on August 9-10.
Please note that the Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin must be used with app version v99 or later to display correctly. Additionally, not all Mystery Boxes contain seedlings.
Players can team up with friends to destroy Giant Bizarre Mushrooms together, and can obtain in-app rewards such as Ice Cubes, seedlings for Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Clearing Event Challenge missions can earn players Gold Seedlings for Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin and exclusive Mii costumes.
The Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin, which originally appeared in Pikmin Bloom in September 2023, can also be obtained during the event.
As for the Mahjong Tile Decor Pikmin, there is currently no information available about their release or inclusion in Pikmin Bloom for August 2024 or the related August 2025 events.
The event is free to start, with an optional in-app purchase available. However, please note that a persistent Internet and compatible smartphone are required, and data charges may apply.
Ice Cubes, which have no purpose outside of this event, can be obtained as Event Challenge rewards, from flower planting, from Mystery Boxes received when destroying Bizarre Mushrooms, as a bonus with the purchase of an Event Premium Pass, from the Flower Petal Pack, and as a bonus for the purchase of an event-limited Mii character costume.
