Dive into the Spectacular Future Weekend at Halle Saline Museum – June 14, 2025!

Get ready to immerse yourself in the thrilling "Future to Touch: Halle Unveiled" event happening at the Halle Saline Museum on June 14, 2025, from 10 am till 5 pm. No need to empty your pockets, as admission is absolutely free!

Get a sneak peek of 24 top-notch models and plans exhibited by the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR). The showcase includes the winning design by the Berlin planning team, Richter Musikowski Architects and ST Raum Landschaftsarchitektur, and 102 other brilliant architectural submissions.

Coinciding with this exhibition, the exceptional transformation of the Saline Museum through complete renovation will be displayed in an additional exhibition at the Großsiedehalle Nord. Join guided tours at 12, 2, and 4 pm to delve deeper into the fascinating transformation process.

The exhibition of competition entries for the Future Center will be open from Wednesday through Sunday till July 13, 2025, in the Großsiedehalle Süd of the Saline Museum. Admission remains free throughout its run.

Kick off the day with Halle's Mayor Dr. Alexander Vogt as he officially opens the event at 11 am. At 1 and 3 pm, specialized experts will gladly answer any questions you might have about the Future Center and the renovation of the Riebeckplatz.

Join interactive workshops, provocative debates, and engaging activities – all designed to explore the future of construction, smart city solutions, and scientific research. Take part in AI workshops on building the construction sites of the future (1 and 3 pm), test your building skills by attempting to construct a Leonardo bridge, or try the Rivercheck: How clean is the Saale.

Discover the wonders of Halle's transformation over the ages under the theme "The Place with the Five Names," showcasing historical images from the city archive. Witness the current state and future appearances of the Riebeckplatz and the RAW area in dynamic 3D models and short films, created by the Halle-Saalkreis Development and Administration Company (EVG). A cyber-savvy future awaits us by 2038 as envisioned in the form of a Cyber Quarter, which will offer spaces for living, research, and work in the neighborhood of the Future Center and the main station.

Don't miss the science2public-led tours over the new Elisabeth bridge at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm, or grab a seat in the Smart City Mobile digital café to ask all your burning questions about smartphones and app usage.
