Royal Orchid Hotels & Wyndham Launch Paisa4Plates Charity Initiative
Royal Orchid Hotels, in collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, has joined forces with Paisa4Plates, a charity initiative led by Aryaveer Baljee. The partnership aims to make a tangible difference in India by introducing a voluntary giving model across its Indian properties.
The program, launching in late 2025, will initially start at ICONIQA Mumbai and later expand to all Royal Orchid Hotels in India. Guests will be given the option to contribute 0.5% of their bill to local charities, supporting causes such as feeding the homeless, providing mid-day meals to children, and donating food to those in need. The initiative is designed to be sustainable and low-barrier, with hotels acting as facilitators and gaining goodwill from guests.
Shibani Malhotra, General Manager of ICONIQA Mumbai, expressed excitement about the partnership, aligning with Royal Orchid's mission to make travel impactful for all. Aryaveer Baljee, the founder of Paisa4Plates, is also enthusiastic about the collaboration, aiming to scale the initiative and make a significant difference in India.
The Paisa4Plates program, starting at ICONIQA Mumbai and expanding across Royal Orchid Hotels in India by late 2025, offers guests the opportunity to contribute to local charities. The initiative aligns with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' commitment to corporate responsibility efforts, including community support and sustainability.
