Renovated Samsonschule in Wolfenbüttel to Offer Modern Accommodation for Students and Trainees
The Moses Mendelssohn Institute GmbH has announced the reopening of the Samsonschule in Wolfenbüttel, following a comprehensive renovation. The Samsonschule, located at Neue Weg 50, will reopen on October 1, providing 155 modern living spaces for students and trainees in the region.
The Samsonschule, which is situated directly opposite the Wolfenbüttel clinic, will offer 153 single apartments and one 2-person shared apartment. Rents at the Samsonschule start at 360 euros and average 470 euros, with a flat-rate that aims to protect residents from unexpected additional costs.
Markus Aignesberger, from the FDS non-profit foundation, expressed delight that the Samsonschule is providing modern, fairly priced accommodation for young people. He stated that they are currently receiving many inquiries from students in Brunswick, Salzgitter, and Wolfenbüttel.
The reopening of the Samsonschule is a contribution to improving the training situation in the region, as stated in the press release. The renovated building will offer common rooms, a paid laundry room, and bike racks, making it an ideal living space for students and trainees.
The Samsonschule is conveniently located, with the regional bus stop 'Forstweg' directly in front of the building. Line 420 offers connections to the Wolfenbüttel train station and city center, as well as to Brunswick city center. Line 421 also stops at the Samsonschule and goes to the Ostfalia campuses in Wolfenbüttel and to Salzgitter.
All apartments at the Samsonschule are fully furnished, have a shower room, and a pantry kitchen. The Samsonschule also offers additional amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a communal garden.
Companies in the region are also inquiring about how they can support their trainees in finding accommodation at the Samsonschule. Anyone with a valid training certificate can live in the Samsonschule for the duration of their training or studies.
The renovation of the Samsonschule was funded by the state of Lower Saxony, represented by the NBank. The Samsonschule's reopening is a significant step in providing affordable, modern accommodation for students and trainees in the region.
