Non-Alcoholic Celebration: "Sober Sensation Party" Happening in Worms
The Caritas Association of Worms is hosting a unique event on Thursday, September 18th, starting at 6 PM at Haus am Dom. The Sober Sensation Party, a concept that originated in Berlin and has since spread to various cities, is part of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of Caritas in Worms.
The aim of this party is social interaction and shared celebration, not asceticism. It is a party without alcohol or drugs, promoting a healthy and enjoyable atmosphere. Regular tickets for the event are 20 euros and include one free non-alcoholic cocktail and finger food. For students aged 16 to 18, tickets are available for 12 euros with a valid ID.
The Sober Sensation Party offers a variety of delicious finger food such as mini burgers, sweet potato fries, and quinoa salad, among other things. The event also engages all senses with light, music, scents, and creative mocktails. Live music, a DJ, and a light artist will provide the atmosphere.
Gideon Bellin, the originator of the Sober Sensation Party, believes in the power of natural highs and considers the social energy as the essence of a successful party. Anja Jäger, department head, explains that the event demonstrates it's possible to have a good time without alcohol, even in a wine town.
Tickets for the Sober Sensation Party can be purchased via a specific website or at the box office on the day of the event. The event will last until around 11 PM and is open to individuals aged 16 and above.
This party is organized by the Addiction Prevention Office of the Psychosocial Center, and it's a great opportunity to enjoy a night out without alcohol, celebrating with friends and the community. So, mark your calendars for September 18th and join the Sober Sensation Party in Worms!
