New volunteer center established in Sverdlovsk region opens its doors to the public

Yekaterinburg, the Sverdlovsk region's regional Youth House, has established a new volunteer resource center. Spanning 100 square meters, this center aims to support regional volunteer organizations, offering free legal and accounting consultations. The operational center was officially inaugurated, with Denis Protasov, the acting director of the Sverdlovsk region's Department of Youth Policy, attending the ceremony.
Addressing the attendees, Protasov highlighted the significance of the new center, particularly in aiding volunteers during the special military operation and supporting their families. He emphasized the prioritization of these tasks as inspired by the directives of President Vladimir Putin and the regional leader, Denis Pasler.
The opening day was marked by productive engagement. Representatives of leading volunteer organizations and 18 Dobro.Centers of Sverdlovsk region participated in a roundtable discussion, focusing on expanding volunteer opportunities and bolstering residents' social responsibility. The organizers pointed out the resource center's media zone, designed for recording interviews and podcasts, which can facilitate creative idea implementation.
The resource center also hosted a roundtable for socially oriented NGOs, discussing obstacles in registering organizations on the Dobro.ru platform and strategizing overcoming them. The organizers also met with representatives of the regional #WeTogether club of Sverdlovsk region.
Notably, the International #WeTogether Award, a part of the national project "Youth and Children," is given in recognition of community service. This award, presented by Vladimir Putin, is an extension of the All-Russian "Volunteer of Russia" competition.
