Naurod to enforce a lockdown in August, according to ELW's plans
In the charming town of Naurod, located within the city of Wiesbaden, bulky waste collection is an essential service provided by ELW. Here's what you need to know about the collection dates and guidelines for this service.
For the upcoming months, bulky waste collection in Naurod will take place on three separate occasions: August 21 and 22, February 23 and 24, and November 28 and 29. It's important to note that unlike the rest of Wiesbaden, Naurod does not have individual bulky waste collection dates for each household.
To ensure a smooth collection process, it's essential to place your bulky waste on the sidewalk the evening before collection. However, placement should be done within the designated collection period to avoid potential fines. The specifics of this rule may vary, and early placement may not always be allowed in Naurod.
The bulky waste should be separated into two categories: large furniture and carpets, and metal parts and electrical appliances. Construction debris, garden waste, glass panes, mirror glass, and remaining waste, cartons, and bags will not be collected during bulky waste collection.
ELW vehicles will be rolling through the neighbourhood on both collection days. On August 21, the collection will take place in Obergasse, Auringer Straße, and all streets north of them. On August 22, the collection will be from the streets south of the area and the Erbsenacker settlement.
For questions or further information, you can contact ELW at (0611) 71530 or the local administration office at (06127) 991780. Detailed information about what constitutes bulky waste and specific rules can also be found on Wiesbaden lives!
In case of a missed collection on Thursday, June 30, and Friday, July 1, in Naurod, ELW has announced that they will make up for the missed collection on the respective days.
For accurate and up-to-date information, it is recommended to contact the Wiesbaden waste management department or check their official website at www.elw.de. By staying informed and following the guidelines, you can help keep Naurod clean and tidy.
