New Yamaha True X Surround 90A Dolby Atmos Soundbar System Offers Immersive Home Theater Experience

Yamaha has unveiled its flagship 5.1.2 channel home theater system, the True X Surround 90A. This soundbar system is designed to deliver immersive, cinema-quality 3D sound with advanced technologies and flexible placement options.

Key features and specifications of the Yamaha True X Surround 90A include:

  • Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and AURO-3D support for rich, immersive surround sound and realistic height effects.
  • Yamaha Surround:AI technology powered by Qualcomm QCS407 64-bit processor, analyzing audio 5 times per second to optimize dialogue, music, and effects in real time for smart spatial sound enhancement.
  • Twelve ultra-precise DSP-controlled beam speakers (6 per side) in the soundbar, utilizing Yamaha’s YSP beam speaker technology and eye-shaped front drivers to produce distortion-free immersive surround sound and superior height channel performance.
  • Wireless subwoofer with Symmetrical Flare Port™ technology for exceptionally clear, dynamic, and deeply resonant bass with up to 20 dB less port noise compared to conventional designs.
  • Two True X Speaker 3A wireless surround speakers that are portable with built-in rechargeable batteries and charging cradles. They can switch from surround mode to Solo mode, working as standalone Bluetooth speakers anywhere at home or on the go.
  • Elegant and durable design: A slim soundbar only 71mm (approx. 2.8 inches) tall wrapped in a high-rigidity metal enclosure with vibration-dampening feet for acoustic precision and sleek aesthetics that do not block the TV.
  • Wireless connectivity and streaming features: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, and Yamaha’s MusicCast multi-room audio system integration for versatile streaming and control options.
  • Advanced build quality including custom eye-shaped oval speaker drivers optimizing cone strength and magnetic circuitry to minimize distortion and deliver rich midrange tones.
  • Comprehensive surround setup: The system includes a main soundbar, subwoofer, and two wireless surround speakers for a full 5.1.2 immersive audio experience, enhancing movies, music, and games with dynamic height and surround effects.

In addition, the Yamaha True X Surround 90A also includes support for wireless music streaming over Bluetooth and wi-fi, and Yamaha’s Surround:AI system.
