Loriot Exhibition Welcomes Its 50,000th Guest
Upon the 23rd of May, 2025, the Ludwig Gallery nestled within Schloss Oberhausen reached a significant milestone. The 50,000th visitor graced the exhibition "Ach was. LORIOT - Artist, Critic, and Cartoonist". This momentous occasion happened on a Friday, with the fortunate couple, wedding vendors just a day prior, identified as the jubilee visitors.
Tom Adams, the groom, surprised his newly-wedded wife, Caroline Berg, by taking her to the gallery based on a colleague's recommendation. The couple was promptly recognized as the gallery's 50,000th visitor and received a warm welcome.
Dr. Sarah Hülsewig, the exhibition's curator, offered a bouquet of flowers, accompanying booklets, and a poster of the exhibition to celebrate the special occasion. A photograph was taken to commemorate the unique moment.
