King's Foundation Marks 35th Anniversary With '35 Under 35' Network Visit
The King's Foundation marked its 35th anniversary with a special meeting. The King greeted a delegation of young professionals, all outstanding in their respective fields. The visit was part of the '35 under 35' network's wider trip to Dumfries House, where they explored the estate's history and participated in workshops.
The young adults, selected by the foundation, contributed items to the anniversary time capsule launched earlier this year. Siobhan Mackenzie donated a sample of the official tartan for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, while Angelica Ellis contributed her 'tambour' hook, used in bespoke and couture embroidery. Jo Rance presented a painting of the Kitchen Garden at Highgrove Gardens. Each member showcased their innovations to the King during the reception.
The delegation represented various areas supported by the foundation, including craftsmanship, sustainable fashion, architecture, health, and environmentalism. Despite the younger artist's needle not being mentioned in search results, all contributions were well-received.
The King's Foundation's 35th anniversary celebrations concluded with a meaningful exchange. The '35 under 35' network's members, through their contributions and innovations, highlighted the foundation's commitment to supporting young talent across diverse fields.
