Kamchatka's Eco-Friendly Initiative: Repurposing Live Christmas Trees

In Kamchatka, an eco-friendly initiative has begun. Specialists from AO 'Special Transport' have started processing live christmas trees collected during the 'Eco-friendly christmas trees!' campaign. The trees, donated by residents, will be repurposed to support local animal welfare and environmental efforts.

The processing of the christmas trees is a swift operation. It takes only a few minutes for the specialists to remove nails and disassemble the trees before they are processed. The campaign collected 45 live christmas trees in total, with 20 generously donated by the residents of Vilyuchinsk.

The 20 christmas trees from Vilyuchinsk have been given to the Kamchatka Regional Public Association 'Society for animal Protection Action 'Tender Heart''. The association will use them to support animal welfare. Meanwhile, the mulch from the processed christmas trees will be used for landscaping and soil improvement in the future. The processed wood chips will also serve a purpose, being used as bedding for animals by the Kamchatka Regional Public Organization 'Society for the Protection of animals 'Kind Heart'. A mulcher, or shredder, is used to transform the christmas trees into finely chopped wood chips.

The 'Eco-friendly christmas trees!' campaign in Kamchatka has successfully collected and processed live christmas trees. The repurposed christmas trees will benefit both animal welfare and environmental efforts in the region.
