Istanbul's Pera Museum offers complimentary guided tours to celebrate its anniversary
The Pera Museum in Istanbul is gearing up for a special event, a free guided tour titled "A Journey Through Collection Exhibitions", starting on July 30, 2025, at 6 p.m. This tour is an exciting opportunity for visitors to explore the museum's diverse collections, ranging from Orientalist painting and Ottoman cultural history to traditional crafts, all enriched by expert commentary.
This tour is a collaboration with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Culture Inc. and takes visitors through four of the museum's key collection exhibitions:
- "Intersecting Worlds: Envoys and Painters" – This exhibition explores diplomatic and artistic relations between the Ottoman Empire and Europe from the 17th to 19th centuries.
