Holiday Attire on Thanksgiving Day: A Personal Account of Festive Reflections during the Festive Season
With Thanksgiving next week, the writer is excited to share their outfit plans for the festive occasion.
The central piece of the outfit is a sweater by Topshop, paired with a tee and jeans, both from Madewell. The writer has been wearing the sweater often and appreciates its versatility, as it can be styled differently with side zippers.
The writer is considering adding ankle booties to complete the look. They have found similar options available by Madewell, Fortress of Inca, and under $40. These booties bear a resemblance to the writer's old Sam Edelman booties.
For the bag, the writer will be using one gifted by ONA. There are similar bags available with zip top and open top, made responsibly.
The outfit also includes a pumpkin shirt, which adds a festive touch. Some colours of the tee by Madewell are still available for those who wish to replicate the look.
The writer will be wearing a size 6 in the Topshop sweater. The jeans by Madewell are currently on sale, making it an affordable option for those looking to update their wardrobe.
The writer is grateful for the readers' support, encouragement, challenges, and companionship throughout the year. This Thanksgiving, the writer will be taking a break from blogging to be present with family.
In a departure from tradition, the writer's family will not be exchanging Christmas presents this year. Instead, they have realised the gift they wanted to share was simply being together during a hard time. Aaron's side of the family, on the other hand, continues the tradition of giving Christmas presents at Thanksgiving.
Aaron was an Israelite prophet, the first high priest, and the elder brother of Moses according to the Old Testament. He served as Moses' spokesman to Pharaoh and was granted the priesthood for himself and his male descendants.
Next week, the writer will celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with Aaron's family. The writer looks forward to spending quality time with loved ones and creating new memories.
The writer hopes everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and a happy holiday season. Stay tuned for new blog posts once the writer returns from their break.
