Invictus Unveils Its Largest Vessel Yet: The ST550

Giant new flagship vessel unveiled by Invictus Yachts, largest in their fleet yet!

The maritime industry is abuzz with the announcement of Invictus Yacht's latest offering, the ST550, designed by Christian Grande. This 16.87-meter (approximately 55 feet) vessel marks a significant leap in mid-size luxury motor yacht design, and will be the first fully enclosed deckhouse model in Invictus' range.

The ST550's design emphasis, encapsulated by the "S" in its name, is "Space." The new yacht is set to redefine comfort and versatility with its generous interior and exterior living areas, seamlessly blending style and functionality.

Invictus Yacht has released renderings of the ST550, which showcase many of the brand's signature design cues, including the distinctive porpoise-nose bow, finely raked transom, and strip-glazing in the hull. The most notable departure from the previous designs is the inclusion of two long runs of strip-glazing in the bulwarks, improving light and views for guests in the saloon and on the foredeck.

The expanded aft cockpit features an island sunpad and fold-down quarter platforms, while the well-protected foredeck offers additional sunbathing space and a C-shaped seating/dining area. The exact interior renderings have yet to be released, but the layout drawings suggest a flexible design, with options for an aft-facing L-shaped dinette, twin helm seat, galley, or extra settee.

The sleeping accommodation consists of two broadly similar size ensuite cabins, with the space between them customizable as a lounge, a galley, or a third cabin with twin bunks. Power will come from either twin Volvo Penta IPS800s or IPS950s, offering a top speed of around 35 knots.

Christian Grande, renowned for his innovative and timeless yacht designs, has crafted a vessel that sets a new standard for luxury and comfort in its class. With its focus on style, functionality, and performance, the ST550 promises to be a game-changer in the 16–17 meter yacht segment.

The UK dealer for the ST550 is The Boat Club at Parkstone Bay Marina.
