Ulan-Ude City Forestry Takes Action to Enhance Urban Greenery
The Municipal Budgetary Institution (MBI) "City Forestry" in Ulan-Ude has been actively working to improve the city's green spaces and streetscapes. On August 5, the institution shared the results of its recent activities.
One of the key areas of focus has been the removal of stumps from various streets across the city. More than 200 stumps have been removed from Komarova, Yunatov, Limonova, Nikolai Nischenko, Khorinskaya, Komsomolskaya, Garnayeva, Trubacheeva, Pavlov, and other streets.
In addition to stump removal, weeding and care for green zones have been carried out in several significant locations. These include the Elevator area, the 60th Anniversary of Victory Square, Revolution Square, and Baltahev Street.
The city's green spaces have also benefited from large-scale brush cutting efforts. The MBI has been diligent in maintaining the health and appearance of these areas.
To further enhance the city's greenery, mobile green zones have been installed in the Elevator area and on Baltahev Street in June. This initiative aims to provide a more vibrant and inviting environment for Ulan-Ude's residents and visitors.
Safety has been a priority in the MBI's work, particularly on Komsomolskaya Street. The special stump drill was used to minimize the impact on the surrounding environment and urban infrastructure. Special attention was paid to road safety, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
The MBI's efforts extend beyond simple greening and street tidying up. In June, events were held to raise more than 90 artificially formed tree and shrub shapes (tree trunks) in Ulan-Ude, specifically on Lenin, Sverdlov, and in the 113th microdistrict.
The work on Komsomolskaya Street was done under the instructions of the GIBDD, resulting in the raising of 67 tree trunks and cutting of 400 sq.m of brush. These efforts demonstrate the MBI's commitment to improving Ulan-Ude's urban environment.
While the available search results do not contain any specific information about additional activities of the MBI "City Forestry" beyond greening and street tidying up, it is clear that the institution is dedicated to enhancing Ulan-Ude's greenery and maintaining a clean and safe city. For detailed or official information on the MBI's broader roles or functions, consulting the Ulan-Ude city administration or the institution's official communications would be necessary.
To further delight the residents of Ulan-Ude, the MBI "City Forestry" successfully installed mobile home-and-garden zones in the Elevator area and on Baltahev Street, enhancing the overall lifestyle appeal of these locations. Moreover, with the aim of cultivating a lush and attractive cityscape, the institution continues to focus on the strategic placement and maintenance of these zones.
