The festival's theme this year is "Heath, Birch, and Potato," and interactive activities around this theme will be available throughout the weekend.
On Saturday evening, the party kicks off on the Platz der Partnerschaften, with live entertainment from Antenne Niedersachsen Show-Truck's in-house cover band, hosted by the radio station's moderator.
Local acts such as the Hankensbuettel playmates, chess club, Ottermobil, and the discovery mobile of the Hegering will enrich the family program with creative play and interactive activities.
On Sunday morning, an open-air church service will be held as part of the festival. The stage program for the day will feature numerous contributions from local clubs, groups, and institutions. Expect performances from the Hankensbuettel music corps, men's choir, modern dance group, and stage play association, among others, until 6 pm.
In addition, "The Little Havel Man" play, performed by Frau Mond, a puppet theater organised by the Hankensbuettel Cultural Association e.V., is not to be missed.
