The Plight of Wabik, a Special Therapy Horse
Wabik, an 11-year-old gelding and a beloved therapy horse at the Freiberg Youth Farm, is currently battling a serious eye injury. The youth farm, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, is doing everything possible to ensure Wabik's full recovery. The Road to Recovery
Wabik was diagnosed with a tear in his right cornea and has undergone initial treatments at the animal clinic in Kirchheim/Teck. After two weeks of intensive care, including hourly ointment and antibiotics, Wabik has returned home. He is currently restricted and requires special care, including wearing protective goggles day and night.
