The Marburg City Library is hosting an exciting event for children aged 6 to 12 on October 8th. From 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, youngsters can explore the Technisches Hilfswerk (THW) Marburg at their grounds on Molkereistraße 7. The event offers a chance to learn about the tasks and areas of operation of the THW, and even see search dogs, large equipment, and flashing lights in action.

The THW is a volunteer organisation that supports people in need during emergencies such as floods, earthquakes, or other disasters. On this day, children will have the opportunity to learn about the crucial work they do. The event is part of the library's monthly children's programme, which often features such interactive and educational experiences.

Registration for the October 8th event is possible on-site at the city library or via email. However, spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended.

The THW exploration tour promises to be an engaging and informative event for young children. It offers a unique chance to learn about the vital role the THW plays in our community and see some of the tools they use to help others in need.
