The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) is set to return to Manila, Philippines, from an anticipated five-day run, bringing together a curated selection of twelve standout titles, conventions, author meet-and-greets, book talks, and workshops.

Among the new releases gracing the fair is "The Secret of Secrets" by Dan Brown, a Robert Langdon thriller that has been eagerly awaited since the author's eight-year hiatus. Fans of the mystery genre will also be delighted to discover "Thursday Murder Club" by Richard Osman, a witty mystery novel that has recently become a Netflix hit, following four retirees solving cold cases until a murder lands on their doorstep.

For those with a penchant for comic books, "Absolute Batman Vol. 1: The Zoo" by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta presents a reimagined Dark Knight story, while "Kagurabachi Vol. 1" by Takeru Hokazono offers a fast-rising manga series about vengeance, sorcery, and enchanted blades, soon to receive an anime adaptation.

For coffee enthusiasts, "How to Make the Best Coffee at Home" by James Hoffman provides a practical guide to mastering barista-level techniques in their own kitchens. On the other hand, "Filipino Folktales for Children: Stories of Wisdom and Wonder" by Zarah Gagatiga, illustrated by Corazon Dandan-Albano, offers a delightful collection of traditional tales for younger readers.

One of the most anticipated releases at MIBF 2025 is "Katabasis" by RF Kuang, a highly anticipated continuation of the author's critically acclaimed series. Another noteworthy title is "The Art and Making of Arcane" by Elisabeth Vincentelli, an in-depth companion to the award-winning animated series, featuring breathtaking art and storytelling insights.

"The Book of Bill" by Alex Hirsch, a cult hit from the Gravity Falls universe, packed with ciphers, riddles, and eerie surprises, and "Let Them Theory" by Mel Robbins, sharing a liberating message of resilience, are also set to make their mark at the fair.
