Enhanced Mother and Baby Rooms in Three Airports by Air Astana Group Upgraded

Celebrating Kids and Comfort at Kazakhstan's Airports

To celebrate Children's Day and the 90th anniversary of Nursultan International Airport, Air Astana and FlyArystan have spruced up mother and child rooms in the capital's airport, with similar facilities also introduced in Shymkent and Atyrau airports.

Want some peace for your little ones during flight delays? Air Astana's Vice President of Corporate Communications, Bella Tormysheva, tells us that these renovated rooms aim to transform the waiting time into an entertaining, educational experience.

Packed with Lego tables, easels, musical toys, and building blocks, these spaces are designed to promote patience, concentration, and fine motor skills. Babies won't miss a feeding or diaper change either, with cribs, changing tables, microwaves, and sanitization areas available.

At Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, you'll find five of these joy zones, conveniently located in Terminal 1 (on the 2nd and 3rd floors) and Terminal 2 (on the 2nd floor), or in the common zone of Terminal 2. Meanwhile, in Shymkent Airport, pop by the mother and child room in the common zone on the 1st floor, and in Atyrau, head to the 2nd floor in the common zone near the Air Astana office. Just remember, these rooms are designed for kiddos up to 5-7 years old, accompanied by one grown-up, and are completely free and open 24/7.

The airlines are also basking in congratulations, as Air Astana clocks in at 19 years old, and FlyArystan turns a fabulous 2. Committed to maintained high standards in passenger service, safety, and environmental sustainability, the airline's motto, "One airline, two brands," reflects this mission.

Air Astana also partners with charitable organizations, supporting projects that benefit the community and align with its values. This philanthropy spans three key areas: cooperating with local and national charities, helping the needy populace (e.g., sick children and World War II veterans), and encouraging employees' involvement in these charitable pursuits.

Although exact details about the mother and child rooms at Kazakhstan airports used by Air Astana and FlyArystan are scarce, it's safe to say these airlines and airports are taking great strides to make family travel more comfortable and enjoyable. For specific details about these facilities, it's best to reach out to the airports or visit their websites.

In line with their mission for providing excellent passenger service, Air Astana and FlyArystan recently renovated mother and child rooms at Kazakhstan's airports, merging home-and-garden style ambience with a lifestyle approach for kids. These making-waiting-time-fun zones, equipped with educational toys and facilities for babies, are now open in Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, Shymkent Airport, and Atyrau Airport, catering to children aged 5-7 years old.
