Magical Weekend Transforms Demmin's Fisherman's Island

The heart of the festivities was the Hanseviertel, where a treasure chest was opened for children dressed in fairy tale costumes. Gabriela Stein, the Hanseviertel's chief, and Ulf Schumacher led the ceremony, much to the delight of the little ones.

Three-year-old Henry, with a superhero face, competed with the sun in the sandbox.
Sun umbrellas were set up on the large lawn in the Hanseviertel, and picnic blankets were laid out. Heiko Berner also entertained the audience with magic tricks, adding to the magical atmosphere. Antje Hornburg-Zeneli and Susan Dobronski offered magical coffee, roasted and flavoured with fairy tale themes.
Monique Stahr helped little visitors with face painting at one of the fisherman's huts, collecting donations for the Demmin and surrounding area animal protection association.
