Materials:- 1 x 50 cm (19.7") cotton cord- 1 x 100 cm (39.4") cotton cord- 12 x 200 cm (78.7") cotton cords- Sewing needle (for hiding ends)- Scissors- Board or surface for knotting- Measuring tape or ruler- Pencil or marker- Optional: Wooden or plastic dowel for hanging support

Step 1- Lay the 100 cm cord in a circle and tie it with a Lark's Head Knot (a quick and easy knot to start or end a project).

Step 2- Fold one of the 200 cm cords in half, create a loop, and pull the end through the loop to form a loop knot (a basic knot used to connect multiple cords).

Step 3- Repeat step 2 with the remaining 11 cords, evenly spaced around the circle.

Step 4- Take two cords and tie them together with a simple knot (known as a Square Knot, used to join two ends together).

Step 5- Continue tying the cords in pairs, alternating between the knots you've already made (helps create an intricate pattern).

Step 6- Keep tying until only a short length of cord remains.

Step 7- Use the remaining 50 cm cord to tie off the bottom of the net with a Square Knot.

Step 8- Wrap the cord around the bottom, fluff up the lower cords, and shift the top cords to create two handles.

Your DIY fruit net is now complete! Customize the size by adjusting the length of the cords, or get creative with different knotting patterns to make it truly unique. Happy crafting, road warriors!
