Detmold Autumn Holidays Spark Creativity with Free Workshops

Detmold's autumn holidays bring a burst of creativity with free workshops for 10 to 14-year-olds. The project, funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science and the Ministry for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refugees and Integration of North Rhine-Westphalia, offers a practical cultural experience under the guidance of skilled artists and lecturers.

Participants can develop their own projects and create unique works across various disciplines. Comic enthusiasts can join 'CRASH! BOOM! BANG!' from October 13 to 15, 10 am to 3 pm at VHS Detmold-Lemgo. Those interested in dance can register directly at Domizil for 'I Want to Dance!', running from October 13 to 17, 9 am to 5 pm. Aspiring goldsmiths can choose between two sessions at Hangar 21, either October 13 to 15 or October 20 to 22, 10 am to 3 pm. Beginners in sewing can learn the basics on October 15 and 16, 9:30 am to 2 pm at the same location. Most registrations are online via pretix.eu/stadtdetmold/kulturrucksack, except for the dance workshop.

The talented team behind these workshops includes Erik Halisch, Katrin Kaiser, Katja Severin, Alexandra Völker, a theatre actress, and a choreographer for a musical revue project. They will guide participants in creating their own projects and unique works.

Detmold's autumn holidays offer a wealth of creative opportunities for youngsters. With free workshops in comic creation, dance choreography, goldsmithing, and sewing, participants can explore their artistic sides and create lasting memories. The project's success is made possible by the support of the relevant ministries and the dedication of the involved artists and lecturers.
