Cultural Event in Greifswald on September 12, 2025
Get ready for an exciting evening as the 23rd Greifswald Culture Night is set to take place on September 12th. This annual event, coordinated and promoted by the Education, Culture & Sports Department of the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald, promises a diverse array of activities for all ages.
The Cultural Night will kick off with the Singing Balconies in Schönwalde II at 5:00 PM, setting the tone for an evening filled with music, theatre, workshops, and more.
One of the highlights of the night will be the performance at Störtebeker Braugasthaus, where pianist Tobias Altripp & friends will be entertaining the crowds. Meanwhile, over at Café 'Kaffeemühle', the 'Klarinakkord' will be taking the stage on September 12th, although the exact starting time is yet to be announced.
Studio Galerie Greifswald will be hosting a painting exhibition by Ulrike Hochgrebe, accompanied by music from 'Drumming with the Greats'.
Attendees are encouraged to be spontaneous and create their own evening cultural program, with many contributions during the Cultural Night being free. An online map of all event locations is available to help you navigate the night's events.
The program brochure, containing all the details of the night's events, is available at the Greifswald Information office at the market, with participating venues in Greifswald and other locations. The 23rd Greifswald Culture Night graphic was designed by Finn Wunderwald, a student at the Media and IT School at the Wirtschaftsakademie Nord.
