Cindy's Television Showcase at CES
Fresh Take:
Having graced the CES floor in Las Vegas since 2000, I've been a devoted TV enthusiast, and the CES 2025 TV lineup was no exception.
If you know me, you already know I'm a TV junkie. And there's no better playground for a TV devotee than CES!
Admittedly, I splurged on a 50-inch Fujitsu plasma TV in 2004 when prices dropped. Now, I could have a video wall for that! From 2004 to the present, I've owned various 720p, 1080p, and 4K sets from LG, Samsung, and Sony, always seeking the best cinematic picture, brightness, color depth, and performance. However, after nabbing the exceptional Sony Master Series A95K QD-OLED two years ago, I'm not in the market yet, though I'm ever curious about emerging innovations that'll be top-tier choices when I'm ready to upgrade.
Stoke My Fyre: TVs at CES 2025 That Got Me Hyped
LG's 2025 OLED evo lineup came swooping in, showcasing a plethora of phenomenal TV offerings that put traditional displays to shame. Standout models included the true wireless OLED evo M5 and OLED evo G5. Featuring LG's advanced Alpha 11 AI processor Gen2, these models made waves with their breathtaking OLED picture quality, impeccable blacks, exceptional brightness, and smart AI-driven personalization ensuring a tailor-made entertainment experience for all users.
Speaking of splurging, the LG Signature OLED T is just insane...okay, it's around $60K! Transparent TVs offer a novel solution for retailers and museums, but for homeowners with deep pockets who crave their TV to share the spotlight with incredible views, this baby might just be the one. Place it in front of a million-dollar art masterpiece or a breathtaking ocean view. When turned off, you'll still have the view of your life—just in case the TV price tag leaves you feeling a little lighter in the wallet. When turned on, choose to watch in transparent mode for multidimensional messaging or raise the contrast filter for OLED-quality visuals.

LG Electronics debuted its premium OLED gaming monitors this year, introducing the 45GX990A (3 CES Innovation Award-winner, including "Best of Innovation") and an all-in-one smart gaming monitor powered by LG webOS.
