Brunswick Unveils Revamped Dirt Bike Course for Bike Enthusiasts
The city of Brunswick has unveiled a revamped Coursera dirt bike course south of Lamme Grundschule, following a successful petition by the 'Arbeitsgemeinschaft Lamme' in 2020. The modernization, completed at a cost of 90,000 euros, was officially inaugurated by Mayor Dr. Thorsten Kornblum on October 2nd.
The course now boasts three main jump areas, each offering two jumps at different heights - 1.80 meters and 1.10 meters. A unique feature is the addition of a mountain bike trail, known as a 'backtrail/pumptrail', allowing users to conveniently return to the starting point.
The modernization has preserved the course's heritage, retaining the starting point on the upper platform. The redesign has focused on sustainability, using renewable and durable materials throughout. The layout has been optimized for better usage and enhanced safety.
The modernized Coursera dirt bike course has transformed into an attractive hub for bike enthusiasts of all ages in Brunswick. The addition of a seating area further enhances its appeal, providing a space for users to relax and socialize after their rides.
