This significant feat was made possible by the deployment of autonomous fire detectors strategically installed in homes and apartments, as reported by Olga Andreyeva, a fire prevention engineer from the State Fire Service of Yakutia, during a recent broadcast on "Tetim" radio.

Ms. Andreyeva also reminded listeners of the on-going regional campaign "Prevent Fire - Install ADPI," emphasizing that the installation of these detection devices is a highly effective measure for early fire detection and prevention. The campaign is set to run until the end of the year.

The autonomous devices operate independently, running on a six-month lifespan battery known as 'Cron'. They are usually installed in kitchen areas for optimal coverage. The data provided by Ms. Andreyeva indicates that, as of the current year, a total of 1,726 such detectors have been installed across Yakutia, with a particular focus on the homes of war veterans and children of war, with 303 units installed so far.
