Düsseldorf Fish Market 2025: A Culinary Extravaganza

Düsseldorf's Fish Market is set to offer an exciting array of food, drink, and entertainment this year, with a host of new vendors and attractions.

For the first time, Thai cuisine will be available at the market, adding a tantalising new dimension to the traditional seafood offerings. The South African winery Lynx, new to the Fish Market this year, will offer a variety of South African wines, providing a taste of the continent's rich viticulture.

Some of the vendors at this year's Fish Market include Flammlachs Traber, Vis Ahoi, Café de Bretagne, Lynx, Chazot, Mind Event, Michele Chiaramonte, Fraulein Herzblut, Imkerei Bolgert, Tanamerah, and Lulu's Charmbar.

In addition to the food and drink offerings, the Fish Market will also play host to a number of live performances. TV Chef Dave Hähnsel and cult Ibiza DJ Paul Kerstermann will be performing, as will the Düsseldorf band Inferno Partyrock and Cubanitos. The electronic duo Odezza will play from 13:00 to 18:00 each day, while DJ Fishi, a prominent figure in the Essen club scene, will also be taking to the decks.

The Fish Market will be open from 11 am to 6 pm, and the fifth market of the year will take place on Sunday, August 3. The Tonhallenufer will transform into an open-air culinary hotspot, with a new food truck serving Alpine specialties joining the lineup in May.

The Gourmet Festival Düsseldorf 2025, a prominent food event focused on culinary sophistication, sustainability, and innovation, is also scheduled for August 22-24, 2025. While it emphasizes plant-based alternatives and gourmet lifestyle, it does incorporate fish and delicacies as part of its exhibitions, likely influencing the broader gastronomy scene including seafood markets.

Other new additions to the Fish Market this year include the Lynx winery, which belongs to the Düsseldorf Konen family, and the frozen yogurt maker Yomaro, which has a fixed stand for the first time in 2025. Alyssa Indira Bohnenkamp, founder of the jewelry label Tanamerah, will also be present, offering unique silver jewelry.

Visitors to the Fish Market can also look forward to the lively atmosphere at TV chef Dave Hähnsel's stand, where fine wines will be on offer. The Odezza-Frozen-Bar will provide refreshing slush cocktails, such as the popular Aperol-Slush.

Lucid Motors, an international car brand, will also be present at the Fish Market, adding an extra touch of sophistication to the event.

For those seeking specific highlights or new features unique to the Düsseldorf Fish Market 2025, further information might be obtained directly from local event organizers or the official Düsseldorf city tourism and market websites, which commonly provide up-to-date announcements closer to the event dates.
