### Contest Overview
The #TinyArchitect - Architecture is Everywhere contest, a collaboration between Japan House Los Angeles and Sou Fujimoto Architects, invites participants to celebrate creativity and architectural inspiration in everyday spaces. Contestants are encouraged to share photos, sketches, or mini-models inspired by architecture around Los Angeles and the innovative designs of Sou Fujimoto Architects.
### How to Enter
- Follow Japan House Los Angeles on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and Sou Fujimoto Architects on their respective platforms. - Post your original photo, sketch, or model on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. - Use the hashtag **#TinyArchitect** and tag both @JapanHouseLA and @SouFujimotoArch. - Include a brief description (100 words max) explaining your inspiration and connection to architecture.
### Eligibility
- The contest is open to legal residents of the United States (including the District of Columbia), eighteen years of age or older; or legal residents of Japan, twenty years of age or older. - Entries are open to residents of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. - Contestants must be 18 years or older (or have parental consent if younger). - Entries must be the original work of the participant. - Multiple submissions are allowed, but each must be unique.
### Submission Period

### Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on: - Creativity and originality - Connection to architectural themes and Sou Fujimoto’s style - Visual impact and storytelling - Use of everyday environments to express “Architecture is Everywhere”
### Prizes
- **Grand Prize:** A personal, congratulatory video message from Sou Fujimoto, along with a feature on Japan House Los Angeles' website and social media, a private guided architectural tour of select Los Angeles landmarks, signed merchandise from Sou Fujimoto Architects, and the winner's photograph turned into a short animated video. - **Second Place:** An architecture book bundle, an exclusive Sou Fujimoto poster, and social media features. - **Third Place:** A gift card to a popular local art supplies store and a shoutout on social media. - **Honorable Mentions:** Digital certificates and social media recognition.
